Sadio Mane - "NO NO NO I'M Not a King"




Sadio Mane won the CAF African Football player of the year in January 2020.
Photographer said "king" to Mane while clicking the picture, but humble Mane responded, " No No No I'm not a King"





Photographer shared the story behind this picture, "He saw I got a camera, and he asked me to take a picture of him because he wanted to show his mother. I asked him for his email address. He shook his head. He only gave me the address of the club (Metz). At last, he asked its free, right"

On 28 June 2016 Sadio mane joined Liverpool.
In 2019 Mane won UCL with Liverpool and helped his national team Senegal to the final of 2019 African Cup of Nations. Senegal lost to Algeria in AFCON final and Sadio Mane was named player of the tournament.
In 2018/19 season he also won the premier league golden boot, after scoring 22 goals. Sadio Mane was the top scorer along with Aubameyan and Mo salah, each scored 22 goals.



On 2nd December 2019, he finished at fourth place for Ballon D'or.
Mane helped Liverpool win the league title after 30 years. He scored 18 goals and assisted 9 in 2019/2020 Premier League.

Sadio Mane has always helped his community, back home in Senegal he has funded for schools, built a stadium, and provides foods, clothes to people who are in extreme poverty.
He once said "Why would I want ten Ferraris, 20 diamond watches, or two planes? What will these objects do for me and for the world? I was hungry, and I had to work in the field; I survived hard times, played football barefooted, I did not have an education and many other things, but today with what I earn thanks to football, I can help my people,"
